Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali return to host season 2 of "American Gladiators," the millennial edition of the vintage extreme competition show airing Monday's at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Each episode features two male and two female contestants competing for points in contests of strength and endurance.
This revival celebrates everyday American athletes, amateur weekend warriors willing to put their physical fitness to the test against the show's resident "gladiators" in true David vs. Goliath fashion. The second season may features new events, a new "Gladiator Arena," and new special effects. But the same heart-pounding, bone-crunching action remains.
